Price Statistics CPI COICOP, June 2010 July 12, 2010 CPI COICOP is defined as a measure of average change of retail prices of goods and services used for personal consumption. Prices of these products and services increased in June 2010 in relation to May 2010 by 0.4% on average. Consumer prices in June 2010 increased by 4.2% in relation to June 2009 and relative to December 2009, by 4.5%. Observed by main groups according to destination of consumption in June 2010 in relation to the previous month, the greatest increase of prices was noted in the groups of Education (5.6%), Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (0.8%), Health (0.7%), Furnishings and household maintenance and Transport (by 0.5% each), Alcoholic beverages, tobacco and Clothing and footwear (by 0.4% each). Prices of other products and services mostly remained unchanged. Starting from 1999 the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia has not at disposal and may not provide available certain data relative to AP Kosovo and Metohia and therefore these data are not included in the coverage for the Republic of Serbia (total).
