Census quality control is conducted imediately after the ending of the census, by repeating census in randomly chosen enumeration areas. On the basis of collected data, coverage errors as well as errors in answers are detected.
As a part of the preparation for the quality control of Census in 2011, in the pilot census of population, households and dwellings in 2009 data collection was repeated in the chosen enumeration areas. Data quality control that was performed will help to test and improve methodology, instruments, organization and processing of quality control in Census 2011.
